komatHi murugan is a Doctorate in Civil Engineering, with Structural Engineering specialization.
She received her Ph.D. degree from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras. Her research interests include
retrofitting and rehabilitation, earthquake engineering and non-linear analysis. Presently, she is a Postdoc at
Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras and is currently working on the mechanical characterization and
durability aspects of textile reinforced concrete.
amlan k. SenguPta is a Professor at the Department of Civil Engineering, Indian Institute of
Technology (IIT), Madras. His research interests include the behaviour of reinforced and pre-stressed concrete
members, seismic analysis and retrofit of reinforced concrete buildings. He is a member of the Sectional
Committees on National Building Code and Special Structures, under Bureau of Indian Standards.
