Durability assessment of slurry infiltrated fiber concrete by using various pozzolanic materials

  This experimental work represents the relationship between mechanical properties and various durability properties. The durability properties such as abrasion resistance, water sorptivity, correlated with the compressive strength of slurry infiltrated fiber concrete. In this research work, fly ash and Metakaolin consider as pozzolanic material as a replacement for cement and its variation from 0 to 10%. Lowered the water sorptivity result shows at the replacement level for 4% fiber with 10 % Metakaolin. The depth of wear obtained in abrasion test is directly proportional to the compressive strength of slurry infiltrated fiber concrete in both fly ash and Metakaolin. R squared values obtained in abrasion test and sorptivity test as 0.9815 and 0.9977.
